A week later, the rapper apologized to the journalist for his "disrespectful" rhetoric.In the latest installment of Red Table Talk, Snoop addressed the feud and his process of "manning up" to his mistakes.

By now you all know there was a controversy surrounding Gayle King following her Lisa Leslie interview about Kobe Bryant. Some of the questions she asked concerning Kobe’s past caused her to face backlash from many fans and other industry greats, one of those greats being Snoop Dogg. He took to social media to call Gayle out, and while many understood his message, they thought it could have been delivered in a different way.

NEW YORK -- Gayle King says she accepts Snoop Dogg's apology, and the CBS anchor says she's sorry that her interview last week added to the pain of people grieving over Kobe Bryant's death.

Snoop Dogg, who caught heat over the weekend for seeming to have threatened Gayle King in an Instagram video post, is now insisting the message was misinterpreted, saying, “I don’t want no harm to come to her, and I didn’t threaten her. All I did was say, ‘Check it out. You out of pocket for what you doing, and we watching you.'”

Snoop Dogg is attempting to clarify some scathing comments he made about Gayle King.
