And former United captain Neville has backed Ten Hag to remain at the club in 2024/25. He believes that the former Ajax boss should remain in post whilst Ineos make significant changes at Old Trafford.
"What I read was that there's no doubt that Ineos coming in provides an opportunity for Manchester United, but it also provides some vulnerability in the sense that you can see the changes that they're making all around the club," he told Sky Sports
