A furious father claims that a neighbour ate part of his family's KFC order - after it was delivered to the wrong property.
Jason Buckton, 47, was irritated after discovering that three boneless pieces were missing from his £27 order through Uber Eats.
The dad accused the courier service of "messing up" his family's dinner, while questioning why anyone would eat a takeaway that they clearly hadn't ordered, Wales Online reports.
After confronting the driver over the missing order, the hungry family eventually received their food, only to discover that part of the feast had already been scoffed.
The raging dad-of-two, from Stockton-on-Tees, said: "The app pinged up, saying give the driver a minute to drop your order off. But then another message came up saying 'grab your order as it's at the door' but there was nothing there."
After three attempts to speak to the driver he discovered it had been dropped off at the wrong address.
Jason said the driver went back to the address where he had left the food and brought it back.
He added: "The driver then said they'd opened the package so I should make sure everything was there. I opened it and they'd ate some of the food. I got in touch with KFC and they'd said that because I'd used Uber Eats there was nothing they could do. But (Uber Eats) doesn't actually give you a number to phone them up."
He flagged it on the firm's app, and was refunded some time later.
An Uber Eats spokesperson said: "We are very sorry to hear about this drop-off error, and can confirm that the customer has been refunded in full."
Jason is baffled as to why anybody would take food that clearly didn't belong to them.
"If it had come to my house, I'd have said 'excuse me, I haven't ordered that," he claimed.

Wendy Williams has filed a temporary restraining order against Wells Fargo in order to access her cash. According to Williams' filings to the court, the bank's move reportedly came after Williams' former financial adviser alleged that Williams "was of unsound mind." On Friday, financial advisers at the bank told Fox News Digital that the company's only goal was to ensure the "Wendy Williams Show" host is able to make payments to entities she "regularly" has made them to, despite what her camp is stating on the record about her being "fine" in response to reportedly being labeled as an "incapacitated person." "Wells Fargo’s priority is the financial well-being of Ms.
Wendy Williams scored a victory in court in her battle with Wells Fargo over access to her cash.According to legal documents, obtained by ET, a judge granted the talk show host a temporary restraining order against Wells Fargo and ordered the bank to «reopen any frozen accounts or assets» and grant Williams «access to any and all accompanying statements.» The bank has also been barred «from freezing any and all assets which contain funds that were removed and/or withheld» from Williams' own personal and business accounts. The order comes after Williams filed a legal letter in court, and obtained by ET, in which the 57-year-old TV personality claimed Wells Fargo denied access «to her financial assets for weeks without providing her or her counsel with adequate explanation or evidence to support its decision.»In doing so, Williams said she and her family will continue to face financial hardship due to her inability to make payments on outstanding debts and other financial obligations. This all stems from Wells Fargo initially filing a letter in court, claiming it has strong reason to believe Williams «is the victim of undue influence and financial exploitation.» The bank claimed it took the dramatic step because Williams' financial advisor «recently witnessed telltale signs of exploitation, including [Williams'] own expressed apprehensions, but also upon other independent third-parties who know [Williams] well and share these concerns.» The bank insists it has nothing to gain from taking this step, and that it's simply acting in what it believes is in Williams' best interest.Wells Fargo filed a second letter in court, in which the bank said it is «open to arranging with [Williams'] counsel to release funds directly to the

She is a super fan of the Olympics, and we are super fans of her.”Some of the comedian’s posts were blocked because of restrictions on sharing recorded video on social media, with NBC’s rights to the Olympics — which cost them $7.75 billion through 2032 — being very strictly observed.Jones, an Olympics live-tweeter since the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Games and a guest of NBC’s in Rio and at the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Games, said in a statement tweeted Monday that she is “starting to feel like this should be my last Olympics I live-tweet.” “I know I know, another celebrity bitching.

But instead of actual treats, the actors dine on a light bulb, soap, a pencil, and even, in Paltrow’s case, a rather distinctive candle.Viewers won’t know the props are crafted out of edible material, but that’s beside the point, says Georgie Jeffreys, director of marketing for Uber Eats, in an interview.
