Christmas may still be over a month away, but several retailers have already announced that they'll be closing their doors on Boxing Day.
More and more shops are now choosing to remain shut on the day after Christmas to give employees the chance to get some well-earned rest and enjoy the festivities with their loved ones.
So in preparation of the holiday season, here is a full list of all the stores so far that have announced they'll be closed on December 25 and December 26, as reported by the Mirror.
The supermarket chain will once again be shutting its stores on Boxing Day.
The news was confirmed earlier this month in a statement from Aldi communications director Richard Thornton. He said Aldi recognised that Christmas was an "important time" for many of its staff and keeping their stores closed on Boxing Day allowed them to spend more time with family.
He added: "Customers will have plenty to look forward to in the run-up to Christmas, with more of Aldi’s brand-new Christmas ranges arriving in stores over the next few weeks.”

The bargain chain retailer announced a few months ago that all UK stores would be closing on Boxing Day as well as New Year's Day.
In a post shared on X, formerly known as Twitter, Home Bargains said: "CHRISTMAS ANNOUNCEMENT - All of our stores will be closing for Boxing Day & New Years Day. We would like to thank all our staff for how hard you have worked this past year, and want you to relax and enjoy the Christmas break with your loved ones. Love from team HB"
The company also later confirmed that all Home Bargains stores will close at the earlier time of 5pm on Christmas Eve.
