BTS is currently one cloud nine as their album Map of the Soul: 7 has been breaking records one after the other. The septet’s latest creation has been receiving tremendous response from music lovers all over the world.

Jeff Benjamin After K-pop titans BTS stated their solidarity with #BlackLivesMatter this week, declaring “we stand together” against racial discrimination, the group and its Korean record label are making a further commitment: BTS and Big Hit Entertainment have donated $1 million to Black Lives Matter, a rep for Big Hit confirms to Variety.The donation was transferred earlier this week, with Black Lives Matter confirming receipt to Big Hit early on Saturday, June 6.

The Korean boy group has joined the long list of celebrities showing full support to the Black Lives Matter movement amid fierce protests all over the world. BTS undeniably has massive social and international influence and has been for a long time, which is why the members standing in solidarity with all the victims of police brutality and racism in general was only a matter of time.

In support of Black Lives Matter, BTS released a statement in which the members declared that they “stand against racial discrimination” after the recent deaths of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, David McAtee and other unarmed Black Americans. The band took to their Twitter on Thursday, June 4, with a statement in Korean and English about how the K-pop group condemns systemic racial violence and discrimination.

BTS released a rare political statement on Wednesday (June 4), standing in solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement.

Park Seo Joon climbed another step on the ladder of success this week. The actor has had a memorable year until now. Seo Joon has received love for his act in Itaewon Class. As he dives deep into his upcoming flick with IU, the actor revealed he has received the YouTube Gold Play Button. The actor received the honour after his YouTube channel surpassed the one million subscriber mark. The actor took to YouTube and did a special unboxing of his Gold Play Button. 

Last year, BTS scored the most-liked tweet courtesy Jungkook. Kookie posted a video on the band's official Twitter account where he was dancing to Billie Eilish's Bad Guy. The ARMY showered him with love and as a result, the "Duh" tweet made history. However, he wasn't the only Korean celebrity who was hooked to the English song last year. We've discovered a video on Lee Min Ho's official Instagram account that shows the lead of The King: Eternal Monarch that shows he also enjoyed the song. 

FESTA 2020 is finally upon us and ARMY could not be more excited as BTS celebrates their seventh anniversary. The special occasion was capped off with a special summer version of their hit track, Airplane pt. 2, which was shot during their Summer Package trip to Saipan. We have a whole lot of things to look forward to as BTS will be dropping new videos, photos and songs every day until June 13, when the K-pop group celebrates its birthday with ARMY.

While it was confused if it was Jungkook or Suga, the D-2 announcement revealed it was indeed Yoongi's highly anticipated Agust D2. Today, the Korean rapper has not only released the album but also dropped the music video of Agust D '대취타' MV and it has surpassed our expectations. The rapper travels back in time to deliver a jaw-dropping video.
