Friends star Jennifer Aniston said she wasn't aware of the amount of "anxiety and self-torture" that Matthew Perry put himself under during the filming of the show.
The 54-year-old actress, who was known for her role as Rachel Green on the hit show, admitted that the reunion show of Friends revealed certain home truths she had no idea about.
The Mirror reports that Matthew, who played cheeky Chandler Bing on Friends, has sadly died after claims that he was found by responders in his hot tub, at the age of 54.
Jennifer, who also starred in Murder Mystery, said on the Today Show: "I didn't understand the level of anxiety and self-torture [that] was put on Matthew Perry, if he didn't get that laugh, and the devastation that he felt."

Lisa Kudrow, who played Phoebe Buffay, expressed her surprise at this revelation on Friends: The Reunion, as she said: "You didn't tell us that then."
Jennifer discussed her romantic relationship with fellow star David Schwimmer - who played Ross Geller - in another segment on the Today Show, as she said: "I think there was something about unrequited love.
