A tiny puppy was found dead in a burn near to Wishaw.
The female French bulldog pup, believed to be between five and eight weeks old, was discovered floating in water near Murdouston Road, Bonkle, in North Lanarkshire on March 24.
The Scottish SPCA is trying to establish how the puppy died and whether she was dead before she was put in the burn.
