Injuries are taking their toll as Manchester United limp towards the end of their dismal season.
With their hopes of reaching the top four looking all-but over, United know they can’t afford any more slip-ups as they host Norwich at Old Trafford on Saturday. With six points separating them from Tottenham in fourth, they have it all to do if they’re to stand a chance of qualifying for the Champions League.
Ralf Rangnick though isn’t being helped by the injuries piling up for him at Carrington, with the interim boss confirming he’ll be without five players for the visit of the Canaries. Here is the latest round-up of United’s injuries.

The midfielder has been ruled out of the visit of Norwich on Saturday, having been forced off at Goodison Park last weekend. Rangnick revealed after the game the Brazilian had been suffering from a hip flexor issue.
The United interim boss confirmed on Friday that Fred has been unable to recover in time for the weekend. Whether the 29-year-old will be fit for Tuesday’s trip to Liverpool remains to be seen.
Possible return date: April 19
Shaw’s chances of featuring again this season look very slim. The defender has been ruled out for the weekend, as well as the upcoming games against Liverpool and Arsenal.
Having had bolts removed from his leg after coming off injured against Leicester, it’s looking increasingly unlikely he’ll feature again before the end of the campaign. "As it seems, [Shaw] will be out for at least another four or five weeks, I think for him it will be difficult for him to be available for the remaining seven games," Rangnick said on Friday.
