Peter Oillataguerre, who previously served as President of Physical Production for MGM, has been named President of Production for Spyglass Media Group, LLC, where he will run theatrical production including creative development, physical production, and post-production. Daniel Radcliffe, David Beckham, Dakota Fanning and more will read “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone,” the first of J.K. Rowling’s classic series, out loud from home in quarantine.”
Daniel Radcliffe is returning to the Harry Potter universe to read chapter one of “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone,” also known in the UK as “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone.” Daniel starred as Harry Potter in all the films that were released in the early 2000s.

Spyglass Media has tapped Peter Oillataguerre as president of production. Oillataguerre will run theatrical production for the company, including creative development, physical production and postproduction, Spyglass chairman and CEO Gary Barber announced Monday.

M&A business in Europe has largely been put on hold during the coronavirus shutdown, so it was a surprise Thursday to see Italian production companies Picomedia and Stand By Me and French TV group Mintee Studios merge under a new corporate umbrella, the Asacha Media Group. Former Zodiak Media Group CEO Gaspard de Chavagnac and Marina Williams, an ex-COO of Endemol Shine, launched Asacha with equity backing from Oaktree Capital Management.
