Former Manchester City star Sun Jihai is now a successful businessman away from football.
Jihai joined the Blues in 2002 from Chinese side DL Shide. The full-back would go on to become a popular figure at City making 151 appearances before leaving on a free for Sheffield United.
After just one year at Bramall Lane, Jihai would move back to his home country where he eventually retired in 2016 at BJ Renhe. Although his football career would fizzle out, the 45-year-old would become a multi-millionaire in another field.

The defender, who became the first East Asian player to score in the Premier League, set up HQ Sport following his retirement and the money has since flown in. The company provides sports media, technology and 'datatainment'.
Jihai even has his own app named after him where users can predict scores. Its success caught the eye of China Media Capital whose investment has since seen the ex-defender's company rise to a valuation of over £20m, according to PeopleWorthWiki.
The MiaoHi app is the jewel in the crown of Jihai's business empire which is a dedicated sports social media platform. The app's userbase has since sky rocketed from 20,000 to 400m.
Jihai has not left a career in football behind altogether. He is also the vice chairman of the FA in the Xinjiang region and has an ambassadorial role with the National Football Museum here in Manchester after helping to boost the popularity of football in China.
