EXCLUSIVE: Talk about a potentially sweet gig: Fly on the Wall Entertainment has partnered with online candy retailer Candy Funhouse to create an unscripted TV series that will crown the first ever Chief Candy Officer.
More than 200,000 prospective CCOs applied for the position after Candy Funhouse announced the new role last year. The series will see individuals competing for the coveted position, with the winner landing a one-of-a-kind opportunity to represent Candy Funhouse whileserving as head candy taste tester and “flavor innovator.”
The new CCO will hold candy brainstorms, conduct candy experiments and run candy board meetings — all while earning a $100,000 salary.
“We’re thrilled to be partnering with Fly on the Wall to bring this exciting new show to life,” said Jamal Hejazi, CEO of Candy Funhouse, which is owned by NBA star Giannis Antetokounmpo and his brothers Thanasis, Kostas and Alex. “With the sheer volume of applications we’ve received for this one-of-a-kind position, we’ve found it difficult to decide on who would be the ultimate Chief Candy Officer. We believe the series will be a great way for people to see the selection process as we ultimately decide who is the right person for this dream job.”
