Florence + The Machine tease comeback with ‘Chapter 1’ cards sent to fans

Arcade Fire have posted a brief snippet of new music on their official website as anticipation builds around the band’s return.Earlier this month, fans of the Canadian group began sharing images of mysterious postcards that they’d received in the mail. They displayed the message words “we missed you” above a stave filled with musical notes.The cards also featured a hand-drawn illustration of an eye that currently appears as Arcade Fire’s profile picture on their social media accounts and has also been spotted on posters in cities such as London and Toronto.After sending further postcards to members of their fanbase this week, Arcade Fire have sparked fresh excitement over their comeback by hiding a short clip of a new track on their website.Upon visiting the contact page of the site, users are met with the same ‘AF’ logo and eye drawing that were teased previously (see the image below).

"Star Wars" fans were in for a treat on Wednesday when Disney+ released its first official trailer for the new series, "Obi-Wan Kenobi".  The show consists of six episodes of live action, which is set to be released on May 25.This iconic date for the "Star Wars" franchise happens to be the 45th anniversary of the original movie, which was released back in 1977.  Ewan McGregor will reprise his role of the wise space wizard, with Hayden Christensen returning to inhabit the sinister life-support suit of Darth Vader. The full cast consists of Moses Ingram, Joel Edgerton, Bonnie Piesse, Kumail Nanjiani, Indira Varma, Rupert Friend, O'Shea Jackson Jr., Sung Kang, Simone Kessell and Benny Safdie.  The series was directed by Deborah Chow, who also serves as an executive producer alongside Kathleen Kennedy, Michelle Rejwan, Ewan McGregor, and Joby Harold.

Florence + The Machine have announced details of their new album and revealed the record’s artwork in an Instagram post.The forthcoming LP will be the act’s first since ‘High As Hope’, their fourth album which was released in June 2018.Posting on her personal Instagram account, Florence Welch shared the artwork for the new record, which reveals that it will be called ‘Dance Fever’.The sleeve features the musician stood in front of a golden moon and dark branches, with a butterfly above her and two big pink flowers in her hair. The artwork was created by acclaimed photographer and filmmaker Autumn de Wilde.“A fairytale in 14 songs,” Welch captioned the post, adding that the record would be available to pre-order from 8am GMT, although she did not specify from which date.
