With a fancy gym, a cinema room and a roof-top sky lounge, it’s no surprise Salford’s newest 14-storey student accommodation block is in high-demand. Greeted by a slide in the reception area and plenty of other fun quirks, True Student’s Salford Two building has a panoramic roof terrace view that would rival the best in neighbouring Manchester.
As well as being possibly the greatest student digs we've ever seen, the building will be the tallest accommodation block in the city. It caters for students attending the University of Manchester and the University of Salford.

Conveniently located on King William Street - next to True Student’s first student building in Salford - the accommodation blocks will house 877 students in all.
Students began moving into the second block on September 8. They will be staying in spacious studios and apartments containing high-spec features and furnishings, and stylish new pod-style bathrooms.
In terms of pricing, the weekly all-inclusive costs for the two main room types at Salford Two is from £190 for the true Apartment Plus and from £195 for the true Studio, which features a kitchenette. This works out at around £780 a month, which is slightly higher than the average for the University of Manchester's own accommodation, such as Brook Hall in Victoria Park (from £180 per week) or the city centre's Park View (from £182 per week).
For those residents splashing the extra cash, they will have access to a panoramic roof-top terrace in the smoke-free building, which offers stunning views across the Manchester skyline and Salford Quays and could easily compete with some of the city's hotels and bars.
