Disney+ has given a first look into its reboot of 90s comedy film The Full Monty.
25 years on, the streaming platform is turning the BAFTA-winning blockbuster into an eight-part series, due to premiere in the UK this June. The film followed a band of steelworkers from Sheffield who formed a male striptease act to earn some cash.
It is one of the most successful British films ever, earning more than £50 million at the box office and winning an Oscar for its music. The new show will uncover what happened to the group after they put their kit back on, while navigating the post-industrial city and their own personal hardships.
