The first coronavirus case in Tameside has been announced today, bringing the total number of Greater Manchester patients to 19.
Stalybridge and Hyde MP Jonathan Reynolds confirmed a male in the borough had tested postive for the virus.
Mr Reynolds said the patient and his family are self-isolating.
No further details have been released at this stage.
