German majorLeoninehas snatched up the rights for Germany to Guy Ritchie's Miramax spy thriller Five Eyes, starring Jason Statham, during the Toronto Film Festival's virtual market. The pre-sale deal was reached with STXinternational, which is handling worldwide rights to the movie, which is expected to start shooting in Europe in November.STXfilms will distribute it directly in the U.S., UK, and Ireland.

Pierce Brosnan, Lilly Singh and Brendan Gleeson will lend their voices to the animated feature Riverdance: The Animated Adventure. The co-production between UK animation studio Aniventure and River Productions is based on the Riverdance stage show franchise and features Bill Whelan’s musical score.
