A fifth person in the UK has died after testing positive for coronavirus .
Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust confirmed that the patient had died at St Helier Hospital, south London.
The patient, who was in their 70s, is said to have been very unwell and suffered a number of long-term health complications.
Daniel Elkeles, Chief Executive of the health board, said in a statement: “Our thoughts and condolences remain with the patient’s family and loved ones at this difficult time.”
