Jon Rahm has vowed to get Luke Donald’s fearless Roman gladiators off to a Ryder Cup flyer.
The fiery Spaniard and revenge-thirsty sidekick Tyrrell Hatton lead Europe off at Marco Simone. Rahm and Hatton are charged up and the Masters champ says they will sink World No.1 Scottie Scheffler and rookie Sam Burns to deliver an opening blow for Donald’s boys in their quest to rip the trophy back from the United States. Rahm roared: “We get the honour of opening the Ryder Cup. Setting the stage, which we’ve done before, and I can’t wait to get our first full point on the board.”
