Shocking footage from yesterday's Old Firm game shows a fan being struck with a missile.
The video was uploaded to Tiktok after Celtic and Ranger's clashed at Ibrox on January 2. Celtic fans can be seen cheering the players when a man is apparently struck by a missile and is left with blood pouring from an injury.
After the man is hit the Celtic fans stop singing and can be heard calling on police to intervene. A man is seen putting out his blood stained hands and showing them to police officers.
Speaking to the Record, Police Scotland confirmed they have launched a probe after receiving reports of 'items thrown during the match,' and said one man was left with a head injury. Cops also said that two men, aged 17 and 66, were arrested at Ibrox for unrelated acts of disorder.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We are aware of items thrown during the match at Ibrox on Monday, 2 January.
“One man suffered a minor head injury after being struck by one of these items. Enquiries into the incidents are ongoing.”
