Former reality star Mark Wright's grandad, Eddie Wright, has been hospitalised following a fall, with the family receiving an outpouring of support over the weekend. Eddie, 91, reportedly had a fall which led to a hospital stay, news shared by his son Mark Wright Snr., 67, sparking reactions from three of his children, including Mark Jr. , 37.
Mark Snr. broke the news to fans on Instagram this week in a post celebrating Father's Day on Sunday. He posted a snap of Eddie sat in a car, revealing in the caption that he was currently in hospital, reports the Mirror.
He penned: "Happy Father's Day to the best - unfortunately in hospital at the moment after a fall a couple of days ago, but dad I'm on my way up to see you now." Mark Snr. ended with a heartfelt message for Eddie, urging him: "Keep strong." The post drew responses from some of Mark Snr. 's children, including his daughter Jess Wright, 38.
Alongside a heart emoji, she commented: "The best there is." Younger sister Natalya Wright, 23, simply shared a heart emoji.
They weren't the only family members to react to the news. Sadie Stuart Wright, who is married to Mark Jr.'s cousin Elliott Wright, posted emojis of praying hands and a heart. And while Mark Jr.
hasn't commented, he has liked the post shared by his dad. Over the weekend, Mark Snr. 's well-wishers swarmed the comments section with messages of support.
