Fabio Cannavaro has warned Juventus that Paul Pogba will be “of no use” to them if he continues with his Manchester United form.
The Serie A side are the overwhelming favourites to sign the midfielder after it was confirmed by United that Pogba will be leaving Old Trafford this summer. The 29-year-old will officially exit the club when his contract expires at the end of the month.
A return to Turin now looks to be the most likely option, with Juventus having been linked with Pogba for some time. Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid were also touted as possible destinations.

While Pogba’s talent has rarely been doubted, Juve will nevertheless be getting a player with plenty of question marks hanging over him from his second spell at United. Fans were left disappointed by the France international’s return to the club, with the midfielder failing to deliver on a regular basis.
Pogba’s six years at United certainly didn’t end well, with fans jeering him during his final appearance at Old Trafford. And Juventus and Italy legend Cannavaro has warned his old side they could be making a mistake by bringing Pogba back this summer.
“Pogba to Juve? I hope to see the real Paul again, the one from the first Juventus experience,” Cannavaro told Tuttomercatoweb.
“He has to find the reasons. The midfielder of recent seasons is of no use to Juventus or France.”
