Fabien Frankel (House of the Dragon) and Alison Oliver (Saltburn) have been cast in key roles in Mare of Easttown creator Brad Ingelsby’s upcoming HBO crime drama series, starring Mark Ruffalo.
Based on an original idea by Ingelsby, the Untitled Brad Ingelsby Task Force Project (wt) is set in the working class suburbs outside of Philadelphia, In it, an FBI agent (Ruffalo) heads a Task Force to put an end to a string of drug-house robberies led by an unsuspecting family man.
Frankel will play Anthony, an integral member of Tom’s (Ruffalo) task force.
Oliver will portray Lizzie, an underperforming state police officer who is added to Tom’s team.
In addition to Ruffalo, cast also includes Tom Pelphrey as Robbie; Emilia Jones as Maeve; Thuso Mbedu as Aleah; Raul Castillo as Cliff; Jamie McShane as Perry and Sam Keeley as Jayson.
Ingelsby serves as writer and executive producer. Jeremiah Zager and Salli Richardson-Whitfield direct and executive produce. Ruffalo also executive produces with Paul Lee and Mark Royball for wiip, and David Crockett. Nicole Jordan-Webber and Public Record’s Jeremy Yaches serve as co-executive producers.
Frankel can currently be seen as Ser Criston Cole in HBO‘s Game of Thrones spinoff House of the Dragon, which will premiere its second season in 2024. He also recently recurred in The Serpent. Frankel is repped by Curtis Brown Group, WME, Luber Roklin and Jackoway Austen Tyerman.
Oliver currently appears in Emerald Fennell’s gothic romance thriller Saltburn, Her previous credits include Best Interests and Conversations with Friends. She’s repped by Curtis Brown and CAA.
