'Extremely concerned' police officers have released a doorbell picture as part of an appeal for help to find a missing man with dementia.
Algernon, who is also known as Danny, was last seen at 8.30am today (Tuesday) on Rolls Crescent in Hulme, police said. He was captured walking past a house on a doorbell camera on that street.
Algernon suffers with dementia. He is described as being around 5ft 7in tall and of slim build.

He was last seen wearing a dark grey fleece-style jacket, grey tracksuit bottoms and brown slippers. He might also be wearing dark glasses, officers said.
An appeal for help to find Algernon has been shared onto social media by Greater Manchester Police. Two pictures of him have been released.
"We are extremely concerned for his welfare", officers said. Anyone who has any information about his whereabouts should call police on 0161 856 5850.
