Phil Jagielka has headed to Championship side Derby County after plans to train at Bolton Wanderers were shelved.
The 38-year-old is a free agent after leaving Sheffield United for the second time in his career this summer.
Reports had suggested that Jagielka was due to link up with Wanderers in pre-season, but it was stressed this would only have been as a favour for the veteran to maintain his fitness
