There will be no season 5 for Evil. The Paramount+ series from Robert and Michelle King has been canceled and will end with its upcoming fourth season, set for premiere this May. A specific date TBA. The streamer said today four bonus episodes have been ordered and are set to begin production soon in New York City to wrap up the storyline. Paramount+ also released a teaser trailer for the final season. Watch it above.

We can’t wait to see what’s in store for these characters, in what is sure to be a nail-biting, wild ride of a final season.”
Filming on Season 4 wrapped early last May amid the writers strike. Timing was suspect because of the walkout, but sources stressed at the time that the decision to halt production was made due to a personal family matter involving one of the actors on the show, affecting their availability to complete the scenes.
“It’s hard to underscore the ability of Robert and Michelle King to cleverly craft thought-provoking stories that push creative boundaries time and time again, and Evil is no exception,” said David Stapf, President of CBS Studios. “We’re proud to call them partners, and want to thank them both, Liz Glotzer, the entire cast and the crew for bringing these complex characters to life year after year as we celebrate this final season of Evil.”
