She began attending Oldham Theatre Workshop from the age of 13, and continued to particpate in youth theatre productions before pursuing acting as a career.
Marsha's first taste of TV stardom came in 1997, when she landed the role of Sally, a waistress, in fith season of BBC One series Pie in the Sky. She went on to star in titles such as Playing the Field, Where the Heart Is, and Burn It. Marsha has also had a highly successful career over in the US, having starred in Disney hit The Haunted
