A live action version of Hercules is officially a go, but that’s not the only animated film from Disney that’s being turned into a live action movie.
Hercules will join a host of other films currently in production and in development at the studio and will follow others like Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King, and Aladdin, in being turned from animated to a live action adventure.

ABC is celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Disney classic film Beauty and the Beast with a two-hour hybrid animated and live-action special. Beauty and the Beast: A 30th Celebration airs Thursday, December 15 at 8 PM EST on ABC, and will be available the next day on Disney+.
