Eurovision viewers reckon Lewis Capaldi had a soundalike song in the form of Germany's entry and they urged Lewis to take further action against the alleged copycat.
As Sam Ryder rose to victory in second place to Ukraine, followers of the song contest couldn't help comparing the German entry to one of Lewis's most famous songs.
German musician Malik Harris gave a sensational performance of Rockstars at the European music event and even had a secret message of peace for Ukraine on the back of his guitar, but that didn't stop viewers including Pointless presenter and comedian Richard Osman comparing the song to Lewis's mega hit Someone you Loved.
Richard noted: "Lewis Capaldi's lawyers rubbing their hands here #Germany #Eurovision"
Another added: "Anyone else think the start of the Germany entry sounds like Lewis Capaldi’s ‘someone you loved’?"
Someone else however noted: "I love how all the older comedians are tweeting that Germany was like Lewis Capaldi/Ed Sheeran and all the younger ones know it’s Twenty One Pilots #SBSEurovision #Eurovision"
But someone else agreed with Richard saying: "If you are sad like us and watching Eurovision - Question... Was Germany's song not a complete rip-off of Lewis Capaldi 's "I was kinda getting used to being someone you loved"??!!"
Others piled on saying: "Liked the song but I think Lewis Capaldi might deserve a credit!"
And a few thought it sounded like a mix between Lewis and Eminem with one saying: "Who knew that if@LewisCapaldi and #Eminem had a baby, he would represent #Germany in #Eurovision!!!"
And someone else agreed saying: "Germany was like a YouTube cover of a Lewis Capaldi song with a naff sub-Eminem rap chucked in #Eurovision
