Erik ten Hag has warned Manchester United's performances will occasionally drop in standard as part of the 'process'.
United suffered two humiliating defeats against Brighton and Brentford at the start of the season, but Ten Hag has turned things around at the club with three consecutive Premier League wins against Liverpool, Southampton and Leicester.
The Reds' have won their last two matches 1-0 and while the performances haven't been vintage, Ten Hag's side have defended well and kept two clean sheets. United now have momentum behind them ahead of playing Arsenal on Sunday.

Ahead of that match at Old Trafford, Ten Hag has warned that it will be normal to see a downgrade in style in some fixtures.
"It’s always about winning in top [level] football," Ten Hag told United's in-house media. "But we have the intention to play well and you see we are improving and we have to keep doing that game by game.
"Some games there will be a downgrade but that’s normal in the process, but as long as the pattern goes high that is what we aim for and work for. What you see is everyone is supporting the way of play. There is a good spirit.
"They work for each other and there is a willingness to work back and support each other. And you can see it’s difficult to create chances against us so we are hard to beat and that’s what I like.
"And also the football on the ball and in possession will keep improving in situations and from game to game."
