Chris Willman Senior Music Writer and Chief Music Critic Taylor Swift announced 2024 international dates for her Eras Tour Tuesday, beginning with a Feb. 7-10 run of four shows at the Tokyo Dome and running through Aug. 16-17 gigs at Wembley Stadium in London. Besides the U.K. and Japan, countries on the agenda for next year include France, Italy, Spain, Ireland, Australia, Germany, Poland, Portugal, Singapore, Austria, the Netherlands and Switzerland. Altogether, it was 38 overseas dates that Swift announced in Tuesday’s major rollout. “EXCUSE ME HI I HAVE SOMETHING TO SAY,” she tweeted. “Can’t wait to see so many of you on The Eras Tour next year at these new international dates! Easy Life and Mahalia have been announced as headliners for a new event titled Corona Sunsets Festival, set to take place in Hertfordshire.Taking place in Hatfield Park on Saturday, September 2, the one-day event will see Franc Moody, Newton Faulkner, Frankie Stew & Harvey Gunn and Elder Island along with the headliners. A line-up of DJs are set to be announced in the coming weeks.The festival will also feature live art installations and culinary experiences all inspired but the sunset which are designed to connect attendees with nature during golden hour.Tickets for the event will go on sale on June 14 at 10am.

NME and Bose have announced details of the limited edition, hand-numbered vinyl release of the ‘Bose x NME: C23’ mixtape.The mixtape was originally released on digital formats and cassette back in March, marking the first entry in the C-Series since 1996. C23 followed on from the tastemaking compilations C81 and C86, both of which altered the landscape of British music forever by launching the careers of such artists as Primal Scream.This year’s C23 mixtape featured 15 exclusive tracks by 15 of the world’s most exciting and innovative emerging artists, including Jockstrap, 070 Shake and Blu DeTiger.

Marta Balaga Oscar winner Andrew Ruhemann has returned to the director’s chair for “The Day I Became a Bird.” His first short in 13 years, based on a book by Chabbert Ingrid, will see a boy who falls in love – with a girl that only has eyes for birds. Desperate to get her attention, he comes up with a rather unusual plan. “I was at the Bologna Children’s Book Fair and that’s where I found this book. I thought it was a very intriguing image: Why is there this kid in a bird costume? It moved me,” he says. Ruhemann’s previous short, “The Lost Thing,” brought him an Academy Award in 2011, shared with Shaun Tan.
