EXCLUSIVE: Count Leslie Bibb in for Clint Eastwood’s growing jury in his Warner Bros. movie, Juror #2.
The actress, who can currently be seen in Lionsgate’s Sebastian Maniscalco family comedy, About My Father, joins already cast Nicholas Hoult, Toni Collette, Zoey Deutch and Kiefer Sutherland. Gabriel Basso is in talks.
Four-time Oscar winner Eastwood directs and produces from a script by Jonathan Abrams. Joining Eastwood as producers are Tim Moore, Jessica Meier, Adam Goodman and Matt Skiena.
Juror #2 follows family man Justin Kemp who, while serving as a juror in a high-profile murder trial, finds himself struggling with a serious moral dilemma … one he could use to sway the jury verdict and potentially convict — or free — the wrong killer. Basso is eyeing to play the man on trial. Ellen Goldsmith-Vein and Jeremy Bell are EPs.
Upcoming, Bibb will star in the Apple TV+ original series, Palm Royale, opposite Kristin Wiig, Alison Janney, Ricky Martin and Laura Dern. Based on Juliet McDaniel’s book, Mrs. American Pie, the series is set during the ‘Powderkeg Era’ of the 1970s, and follows Maxine Simmons’ (Wiig) attempt to secure her seat at America’s most exclusive table: Palm Beach high society.
Bibb starred in the original, Iron Man, and its sequel, Iron Man 2, and as the scene-stealing ‘Carley Bobby’ in Talledega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby, as well as New Line’s Tag, and The Lost Husband, which she also produced. Bibb also starred as Brooke McQueen in the Ryan Murphy series, Popular.
She is repped by CAA and John Carrabino Management.

Lindsey Graham was one fired-up Donald Trump devotee the minute George Stephanopoulos introduced him on Sunday’s “This Week,” immediately contrasting Trump’s indictment with Hillary Clinton’s emails, and when the ABC journalist tried to get him back on track, the South Carolina Senator went ballistic. After Stephanopoulos mentioned the 37 criminal counts Trump faces for his alleged mishandling of classified documents, he asked Graham if he believed Trump when he said he did nothing wrong. And, with that, Graham’s deflection began, attempting to turn the spotlight on Clinton’s use of a private server when she was Secretary of State.“Here is what I believe: we live in an America where if you are the Democratic candidate for president, Hillary Clinton, Secretary of State, you can set up a private server in your basement,” Graham said.Stephanopoulos interrupted, saying that Graham wasn’t answering his question.
Marc Malkin Senior Film Awards, Events & Lifestyle Editor Leslie Grace has a very personal reason for deciding to become what she calls an “ambassador” for “Translators,” a new documentary short about bilingual Latino children in the U.S. who become translators for their Spanish-speaking parents. “I’m first generation Dominican American,” the “In the Heights” star tells me. “My grandmother relied on her kids — my mom and her siblings — and then her grandkids. It’s a very common thing when I see my grandmother that my sister or I or my cousins, we take turns sharing the mail and translating for her.” The doc, directed by Emmy winner Rudy Valdez, highlights several families in which the children help navigate their parents’ lives, from explaining bills that need to be paid to the tremendous worry of having to translate proper medical care for their siblings. “I’m really excited for people that haven’t had this experience to be able to witness it through the doc,” Grace says. “Also there may be some assumptions and misconceptions that you might have about someone who doesn’t speak a language or even speaks English with an accent.”
Naman Ramachandran The first trailer has been unveiled for documentary “In the Shadow of Beirut,” executive produced by Hillary Clinton, Chelsea Clinton and Siobhan Sinnerton for HiddenLight Productions. The film is a cinematic portrait of modern-day Lebanon as seen through the eyes of four families living in the impoverished Sabra and Shatila neighbourhoods of the city, the scene of an infamous massacre in 1982. It filmed over four years with unique access to the families within these largely restricted areas and is co-directed by Stephen Gerard Kelly, in his debut, and Garry Keane (Sundance selection “Gaza,” 2019). Kelly built up his relationship with the families over a six-year period.

Leslie Grace says she has moved on after Batgirl was shelved almost one year ago.
Rebecca Rubin Film and Media Reporter Barry Reardon, who led theatrical distribution at Warner Bros. for nearly 20 years starting in the late 1970s, died on May 27 at his home in Vero Beach, Fla. He was 92. A respected 31-year industry veteran, Reardon was known as the “dean” of theatrical distribution and was credited with transforming the way that studio films are marketed and released. During his tenure, the industry began to place more of an emphasis on daily and weekend box office reports and expanded the scope of the all-important summer blockbuster season. At the time of his retirement in 1999 — after 21 years at the studio and 17 as distribution chief — he exited with an enviable track record. Under his leadership, the studio had 22 films cross the $100 million mark domestically — an impressive milestone since movie tickets were much less expensive back then, and one that’s proven to be challenging to match again in these pandemic times. And Warner Bros. spent most of those years among the top three studios in terms of North American box office share.

Clint Eastwood never quits.
A post shared by Arnold Schwarzenegger (@schwarzenegger)This isn’t the first time Schwarzenegger has used that “heroes don’t retire – they reload,” line. It’s the tagline from his hit Netflix series “Fubar,”, but since the line is clearly a pun not only on Schwarzenegger’s aging spy character on the show, it’s also a reference to himself, it’s come in very handy when he’s wanted to say nice things about other aging action stars. For example, Bruce Willis, who has been unfortunately forced to retire from acting due to the onset of a rare form of dementia. Speaking to Cinemablend recently, Schwarzenegger said about Willis: “I think that he’s fantastic.

Where did this project come from? And what was it like wrapping your mind around such a vast subject matter? You know, it came to me after “The Imagineering Story” came out. I met with a Warner Bros. executive and they asked if I would be interested in doing the Warner Bros.
