Emmerdale stars Rosie Bentham and Daisy Campbell saw their summer getaway to Ibiza get off to a rocky start, as the pair were robbed on the second day of their holiday abroad. The young actresses who play Gabby Thomas and Amelia Spencer in the ITV soap, were hoping to soak up the summer sunshine on the Spanish island, but on the second day of their trip, the pair had their bags stolen.
Due to the loss of their bags, the girls were left without some of their essentials or even a phone for the majority of their trip, leading many fans to wonder why they weren't posting on social media. Sharing a post on Instagram to explain their silence, Daisy wrote: “Sorry me and @rosie_betham have been abit MIA.
It would be me and us to get the whole of our bags stolen on the second night, with 0 phones for most of the hol.” Not one to let this defeat them, the young stars made the most of their holiday anyway, and still enjoyed a sunny break complete with dreamy beaches and enough dance music to boogie any worries away. Daisy then continued: “But we lived in the moment ahahaha and then eventually got new phones.” Thanks to replacement phones, the girls were able to document a few moments on their trip, which both Daisy and Rosie shared on social media.
In several of the snaps, the Emmerdale favourites could be seen soaking up the sun in some colourful bikinis, while several video clips showed them dancing the night away at super club Ushuaia where David Guetta was performing. Posing with cocktails in hand, the soap stars didn’t look the least bit deterred by their bumpy start, and instead appeared to have enjoyed every minute of their holiday - even if they didn’t get to capture it all on camera.
