Emmerdale star Amy Walsh has been flooded with support after she was seen breaking down in tears over being away from her family to be able to do the job she loves. Fans know the actress for playing Tracy Robinson in the ITV soap, having joined back in 2014.
Amy reprised her role in the Dales last year after taking a break to welcome her first child, daughter Bonnie, into the world with her former soap star husband Toby Alexander-Smith.
It means Amy, 37, and former EastEnders star Toby, 33, live with their two-year-old daughter in Leeds, where the show is filmed, and she's now opened up about living away from other members of her family, who are based in London, while appearing in new ITVBe reality series, Drama Queens.

During the latest episode of the show, which follows several soap stars behind the scenes of both their work and day-to-day lives, Amy enjoying a meal out with her husband and their daughter ahead of visiting her mother Diane Walsh in the capital city on her own.
Mentioning having relocated to Leeds in recent years, Toby began the conversation by saying: "Since we've moved away from London ..." Amy reacted to him: "That's been so hard, hasn't it?" Her husband said: "It's been tough for you, I think, being away from your family."
