A man was arrested after breaking into Eminem's Detroit-area home in the middle of the night and coming face-to-face with the rapper, which is exactly what the intruder hoped to accomplish.
TMZ reported that the incident occurred earlier this month at 4 a.m.
According to the report, Matthew David Hughes, 26, gained entry into the home, located in a gated community, by smashing a window with a paving stone. Although the house alarm went off, Eminem's security slept through it. The "Lose Yourself"

Rapper Eminem rose to the occasion earlier this month after he thwarted a home intruder who managed to slip past his security gate at the rear of the property, according to a new report. Per TMZ, Matthew David Hughes, 26, allegedly broke a window leading into the kitchen with a paving stone and made his way into the gated-community residence owned by Eminem, whose real name is Marshall Mathers.
Eminem is an Oscar winner, Grammy winner and apparently, his own personal security. Earlier this month, the world-famous rapper came face-to-face with a home intruder, TMZ reports.
