After weeks of uncertainty, Netflix favourite Emily in Paris is finally back in production after the romantic comedy series resumed filming, despite one of it’s lead stars suffering a life-threatening health scare. The popular show, which stars Lily Collins began filming the fourth series earlier this week, with Lily revealing the news on social media as she shared snap and post that showed off a snippet of the new script and her trademark smile.
Alongside the photo, Lily wrote: "Did someone say Saison Quatre?! Finally reunited with my @emilyinparis fam back in Paris and it feels so good. Although, I may need to brush up on my selfie skills for Emily’s sake…” The official Netflix account then added, " Emily in Paris Season 4 est...in production! J’adore." The news comes after it was also announced that one of the show’s main stars Ashley Park, who plays Emily’s best pal Mindy was currently recovering well from a life-threatening infection that had attacked several vital organs and left her hospitalised abroad.
Just one day after Lily’a announcement about the show, Ashley took to her own social media account to give fans an update on her health after she was struck down with septic shock while holidaying abroad. Ashley wrote: ”As I sit here processing and recovering from the first few weeks of 2024, the only word I can think of is grateful.
