Emily Eavis reveals when the Glastonbury 2022 line-up will be announced

Glastonbury organisers have announced the dates of two ticket resales for their 2022 festival.This year’s festival, which will be held from June 22-26, has already sold out after deposits that were initially paid for Glastonbury 2020 were rolled over for a second year following the cancellation of the 2021 festival.2022 ticketholders who have paid a deposit for either a general admission ticket or a coach package must pay their final balance of £230 (+ £5 booking fee) per ticket between 9am on March 1 and 11:59pm on March 7.Any tickets which have not been paid for in full by the March 7 deadline will be returned to the festival. A £25 refund per returned ticket (a £25 admin fee will be retained) will be automatically sent to the card on which the tickets were originally booked.Glastonbury has now confirmed that a ticket resale for their 2022 festival will then take place on the morning of March 27.

Tame Impala, Justin Bieber and Sam Fender have all been added to the line-up of Sziget Festival 2022.The festival will return to Budapest in Hungary this year from August 10-15, with the likes of Arctic Monkeys, Dua Lipa and Kings Of Leon already on the bill.Tame Impala, Bieber and Fender are among the new additions to the Sziget 2022 line-up which have been announced today (February 22).Anne-Marie, Calvin Harris, Holly Humberstone, Steve Aoki, Tourist, Nina Kraviz, Seth Troxler, Kölsch, Milky Chance, Bad Gyal and Folamour have also joined the bill for this year’s festival. More names are set to be added to the line-up, which you can see below, in the coming weeks and months.Tickets for Sziget Festival 2022 are on sale now, including three and six-day tickets as well as accommodation options.

LONDON -- Adele is set to make a return to live performance at Tuesday’s Brit Awards, the U.K.’s leading music prizes.The soulful singer has nominations in four categories — including album of the year for “30” — and also is scheduled to perform during the ceremony at London’s O2 Arena. It comes weeks after she canceled a planned Las Vegas residency at the last minute, citing delivery delays and coronavirus illness in her crew.Singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran and British rappers Little Simz and Dave also have four nominations apiece, including artist and album of the year.

Michael Eavis has opened up about this year’s Glastonbury Festival saying that it’s “going to be the best show ever.”The festival organiser was speaking to Andy Bennett from BBC Sounds and confirmed that the event is “definitely happening” this year.He continued: “We’re going to run a really brilliant show this year, and it’s going to be the best show ever I’m quite sure.“People are so excited to come back… they’re really looking forward to coming back… it’s going to be quite the exceptional event.”He went on to reveal that the headliners for the festival were in place for the next two years.He explained: “We’ve got all the headliners for the next two year…they’re all in place.” He described this as “extraordinary.”Elsewhere in the interview, Eavis explained that Live Nation’s Melvyn Benn was working with Glastonbury this year to help with the operational side of the festival – including any COVID-19 passports should these be a requirement (which as yet they’re not).He also reflected on last year’s Glastonbury Equinox event not taking place. The festival was planning an event last September, but it did not go ahead.He revealed that Foo Fighters were ready to headline the event.

So far, Billie Eilish has been confirmed to headline the Pyramid Stage on June 24 while Diana Ross will play the ‘Legends’ slot on the Sunday (June 26).Emily Eavis has confirmed that the full line-up for Glastonbury 2022, as well as its accompanying poster, will be announced in March, and that the festival “will give you some news” regarding the line-up “by the end of the month”.

The Horrors are among the 20 new additions to the 2022 line-up of London’s Wide Awake festival.The event, which made its debut last year, will return to Brockwell Park in south London from May 27-28.After recently announcing Primal Scream and Bicep as their 2022 headliners, Wide Awake has now added 20 more names to their bill for this year.As well as The Horrors, the likes of Dream Wife, Alex Cameron, Grove, Harry James, Katy J Pearson, KEG, Sorry, The Golden Dregs, The Lounge Society and The Umlauts have all joined the line-up for Wide Awake 2022.Croatian Amor, Elena Colombi, Fulu Miziki, Identified Patient, Kiara Scuro, Marcus Harris, Melts, Modern Woman and Vladimir Ivkovic round off the other new additions to the bill.These acts join the already confirmed likes of Caribou, Working Men’s Club, Leon Vynehall, Floating Points and Yard Act on the Wide Awake 2022 line-up.Tickets for this year’s festival are on sale now, and you can find them and more information about Wide Awake 2022 by heading here.

Riverside Festival has today revealed the second wave of artists joining the bill for what is set to be an unforgettable 2022 event.

Slowthai will return to North America later this year for a run of headlining shows in the leadup to his performances at Coachella 2022.The tour, announced earlier this week (January 31), will commence in early April with a performance at New York’s Webster Hall. The rapper will spend most of the month on tour throughout the continent, which will include sets across both weekends of Coachella alongside the likes of Harry Styles, Billie Eilish and Kanye West.Slowthai was performing in the US as recently as last month, where he performed a last-minute show at Brooklyn venue Baby’s All Right.
