Emily Blunt is reportedly in the process of lining up her next big role, and it’ll pair her with an iconic director.
The 41-year-old actress is fresh off a Best Supporting Actress nomination at the 2024 Oscars for her work in Oppenheimer. Now, she is said to be in talks with Steven Spielberg to star in his next movie, which is expected to arrive in 2026.

Deadline reported the news, revealing that Emily was “in early talks” about the role and would be one of the movie’s two leads.
Nothing is known about the plot just yet. However, Steven is said to have developed the story while David Koepp is managing the script.
The currently untitled project is expected to arrive in theaters on May 15, 2026.
It is not yet clear which other actors have been in talks to join the project. We’ll update you as we learn more.

Jack Dunn It’s Christmas in June! Amazon MGM Studios has released the trailer for the yuletide action-adventure “Red One,” starring Dwayne Johnson, Chris Evans and J.K. Simmons as Saint Nick.
