Love Island star Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu pulled out of an appearance on Lorraine Kelly's breakfast programme after being slated to appear for a tell-all interview.
It comes following the reality star's exit from Celebrity Big Brother on Friday, which saw her being grilled during Late & Live by hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best. Some viewers accused it as a 'pile on' after watching her exit interview.
The 'awkward' chat also followed Strictly star Layton Williams' comments that Ekin was 'blaming the edit' over what happened in the house with Marisha Wallace after face to face nominations caused chaos.
Lorraine Kelly referenced the Late & Live interview on Monday morning according to reports in the Mirror after making viewers aware they hadn't heard from Ekin-Su despite the planned interview.
GMB host Susanna joked that it wasn't possible to change the edit on their live shows, as Lorraine remarked that Ekin-Su was not happy with how things went during her CBB stint.
Ekin-Su's family released an emotional statement following a string of online abuse towards the former Love Island star after Thursday's episode. She had been slammed by viewers for her “hysterical” crying following the face-to-face nominations which saw Marisha Wallace contribute to putting her up for the public vote.
The 29-year-old's family have since taken to social media amid all the drama, as they begged viewers to stop any “physical abuse threats” saying they are finding it difficult to read the “hateful comments” directed towards the star.
In a statement on Instagram they said: “Last night was a really sad episode to watch. Ekin-Su has always cared and worn her heart on her sleeve and last night we saw that.
