Celebrity Big Brother star Levi Roots, 65, claimed there was an ageist divide amongst his ITV co-stars in the house.
The Dragons' Den entrepreneur failed to be saved from the public on Friday night, as he lost his place on the show alongside Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu during a brutal double elimination. Joining hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best on Late & Live, Levi was quizzed on his friendships in the house and what he really thought of certain A-listers.
Addressing the topic of the house divide, Levi suggested that some of his housemates were "ageist". Ekin-Su appeared to agree with him as she nodded her head while he spoke.
Levi told the hosts: "It's obvious the house was divided, to me personally the house was divided. I think there was an ageist thing going on in the house.
I do think that from the part of everyone sat on the right I think there was a divide between the left." After AJ told him to "name names", she then asked him who he was closest with in the house, in an attempt to reveal which co-stars he wasn't so keen on. He told her: "In my squad was Ekin-Su, it was Louis, it was Marisha and Zeze and of course myself." But not all viewers tuning in for the interview agreed with Levi's points, with one person hitting out: "Levi saying there was a right and left...
they were ageist... asked who was on his side he said ekin su, marissa and zee zee....is he f***ing confused." Another also took to social media to comment: "How can it be an ageist thing when ekin is younger but was always with the old ones and fern is older and spends most of her time with the youngens." Levi also spoke out about the rift between him and Colson Smith, which saw the Coronation Street star then nominate him for eviction.
