Sam Faiers has admitted her newborn baby Edward has been the "neediest" out of all her three children.The former TOWIE original, 31, is now a mum of three to Edward, Paul, six, and four year old Rosie with her partner Paul Knightley. Speaking about how she is feeling since giving birth in May, Sam - who said she's not "ready to brave a bikini" - told OK!: “The baby’s been a bit full-on but that’s to be expected. "He’s seven weeks old.
He’s just started smiling – it’s so cute." She then explained to us: "He has definitely been my neediest newborn. He’s a proper mummy’s boy and is only happy in my arms at the moment, but I secretly love it because this newborn stage goes so quickly. "Sometimes, in the day, I’m like, ‘You haven’t slept for hours, aren’t you meant to sleep for 18 hours a day?’" Sam adds: "The daytimes have been quite tough, to be honest.” Edward weighed in at 7lb 10oz, at their home at 8.20am on May 13 following a three-hour labour.
Sam's waters broke the night before on what should have been her due date, while the couple were watching an Arsenal match on the telly. Sam wanted a home water birth - as she’d had with her daughter Rosie - but the star had a hospital birth with Paul. This time around, Sam and Paul – who met at Essex restaurant Sheesh in October 2014 – immediately called the midwife and were both feeling only excitement for what was about to unfold.
Sam revealed to us that she wasn't feeling nervous in the slightest ahead of welcoming Edward. She said: “I was ready for this labour – I didn’t have any nerves. “I was just really excited to meet him, as we didn’t know the sex."
