And handsets on the list include some big-name brands, with Google and Samsung mentioned as well as last year's iPhone 14 range from Apple, including the flagship Pro Max model. This handset alone would set you back £1,199 if bought new.
The price of new tech has shot up in recent years with the average price of new phones costing around £700 but bigger brands including the newest iPhone 15 range from Apple or Samsung's latest Z Fold 5 device start at least £800 to £900. So there's no doubt a lot of shoppers are turning to second-hand models.
