EastEnders fans think they've figured out what Sharon Watts has really done with the murder weapon that killed Keanu Taylor after the deadly object mysteriously vanished following last year's Christmas murder. Sharon made a surprise return to Walford on Monday evening (1 April), apologising to The Six for leaving them after the shocking events that cost her fiancé his life.
Viewers will recall that Linda Carter killed Keanu Taylor in a surprising twist at the Queen Vic, and they all helped hide the body under the cafe floor.
The meat thermometer Linda used to kill Keanu went missing from under her bed - but in an unexpected twist, Elaine showed up at Easter dinner with the thermometer sticking out of her pricey lamb cut. Linda showed the meat thermometer to The Six and said Johnny would dispose of it, but Sharon stepped in and said she'd do it, as it was the least she could do after being away for so long.
However, fans believe there's a twist coming after Sharon's confession at the end of last night's episode, reports the Mirror. One fan tweeted: "Do we think Sharon is going to grass on Linda? Why else would she offer to dispose of the weapon! ! Can't wait for tomorrow's episode.
# EastEnders @bbceastenders," while a second added: "Finished watching tonight's #EastEnders, and Sharon's face as she stepped towards Linda to take the murder weapon from her, shows a face of contempt. I'm surmising that Sharon has not forgiven her, and will not dispose of the weapon, but use it as leverage instead." Meanwhile in a further shocking development, viewers will see Sharon devastated when the floor of the cafe cracks open and Keanu's body is revealed, something both deeply troubling and problematic for the woman that had once loved
