Thursday's EastEnders episode had a rather dramatic end with Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) wrongly arrested for the murder of Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters).
The arrest came as Keanu's sister Bernadette Taylor (Clair Norris) vowed to avenge her brother's death. Viewers of the soap will remember that while Sharon was involved in hiding Keanu's body, it was actually Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) who killed him on Christmas Day as he attempted to strangle Sharon. After this, Linda, Sharon, Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal), Denise Fox (Diane Parish), Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth) and Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) buried Keanu's body under the cafe.
Since then, Johnny Carter (Charlie Suff) and Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) have also discovered the truth. And it seems that Sharon may end up being the one to take the fall for Keanu's murder, with Bernie appearing to hand over some incriminating evidence to the police. Earlier she had listened to a voicemail that Keanu sent to their mum Karen (Lorraine Stanley) on the day he died, where he mentioned coming to Spain with Sharon's son Albie.
After he failed to arrive, Karen became suspicious of Sharon, especially following the revelation that Albie was Phil Mitchell's son and not Keanu's as had previously been believed. In the message, Keanu claimed that Sharon was playing "mind games" with him. Bernie's cousin Felix (Matthew Morrison) encouraged her to give the message to the police, as he was suspicious of Sharon and her connection to the death.

who died Wednesday at 76, had a varied career in Hollywood as an actor and a pitchman before his trial for double murder in the 1994 deaths of ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman. The former Buffalo Bills star with marquee good looks, nicknamed “The Juice,” was at the epicenter of pop culture for his movie, TV and commercial roles throughout the ’70s, ’80s and early ’90s. It seemed, during those days, that you couldn’t turn on your TV without seeing one of Simpson’s Hertz commercials where — as a spokesman for the rental car company — he ran and careened through airports, nor ignore his big-screen work, most notably in the “Naked Gun” movies starring Leslie Nielsen.Simpson was a big enough star, in fact, that he was pitched to the “Terminator” director James Cameron to star in the 1984 action movie — a suggestion that Cameron said later, in an interview with Chris Wallace, he immediately dismissed.
After weeks of uncertainty, Linda Carter finally put her plan to frame Dean Wicks for Keanu Taylor’s murder into motion on Thursday’s visit to EastEnders (11 April) when she headed to the police station to give a statement which implicated him in the grisly crime. While questioned by detectives, Linda told the police that she had seen Dean dragging a heavy object wrapped in tarpaulin into the cafe on the night of the murder before poignantly revealing why she had waited so long to come forward with the ‘information.’ In emotional scenes, Linda told officers she didn’t come forwards at first as she didn’t think she would believe, as the police had previously failed to act when she reported her rape at Dean’s hands almost ten years ago.
