EastEnders’ Jessie Wallace slams eco-warriors after they deflate tyres on her Range Rover

EastEnders star Jessie Wallace has hit out at an environmental protest group after they slashed the tyres on her car.The 50 year old actress, whose character Kat Slater is currently planning a wedding to Phil Mitchell in the BBC soap, took to Instagram to share her annoyance at the group for slashing the wheels on her Range Rover.The group, who call themselves the Tyre Extinguishers, left a lengthy message entitled “Attention – your gas guzzler kills" on the windscreen of her car, explaining the reasons behind their actions. The letter admitted that the star would be “angry” but stressed “it’s not you, it’s your car”.
“We did this because driving around urban areas in your massive vehicle has huge consequences for others,” the letter continued. At the end of the message, it advised: “You will have no difficulty getting around without your gas guzzler, with walking, cycling or public transport." Sharing a photo of the leaflet on Instagram, Jessie wrote: “These a***holes should be locked up for the chaos they are causing”.
It comes after the long-running soap actress was arrested back in June for allegedly assaulting a police officer. Jessie was restrained by police after allegedly assaulting a police officer on 19 June in Bury St.
Edmonds, Suffolk. At the time, Jessie accepted a conditional caution for the incident outside the nightclub.
A conditional caution is not a conviction, but is used as an alternative to a charge and recorded on the Police National Computer.
