EastEnders’ Bernie actress Clair Norris lands BBC documentary exploring obesity

EastEnders actress Clair Norris has announced that she has been working on a new BBC documentary with Panorama, which will explore the topic of obesity. Soap actress Clair, 24, is best for her role as Bernadette Taylor on the BBC show.
Clair has been away from our screens in recent months as soap viewers saw a pregnant Bernadette flee Albert Square as she considered keeping the baby she was carrying for Rainie Cross and Stuart Highway. Bernie made a return to Albert Square earlier this week and it was explained she had been staying with her big brother Keanu, who is hiding in Spain.

Meanwhile, the actress has since explained what she's been up to since Bernie left Albert Square as she revealed the upcoming release of a new BBC documentary, which Clair partnered with Panorama to create.
Clair shared the exciting news on her Instagram page as she posted a photo of a TV screen showing a snapshot of her doc in an editing studio. She then announced in the caption: "Over the last 4 months I have been working with BBC Panorama, documenting and reporting on a topic that relates to me and I’m sure a lot of you will have your own opinions.
"This has been a chance to show ME! No character and no acting. I have been on a journey, meeting new people, going back to my childhood and sharing my own personal experiences which most of the time I have kept to myself." Actress Clair then added: "I can’t wait for everyone to see this project but it’s important for me to say…please always be kind."
