EastEnders airs Kat Slater’s exit as cliffhanger after Jessie Wallace suspended

While it hasn’t been officially confirmed, it looks like we finally saw how EastEnders were writing Jessie Wallace out of the show to accommodate her suspension.
The actress was revealed to have been asked to leave the set and subsequently suspended for two months around the time the 35th Anniversary was airing but no word on how they were going to deal with it had been announced.
It seems though, her final scenes as Kat Slater aired on Monday night as her character receives a mysterious phone
