Stacey Solomon has said she has been 'devastated' after her two eldest sons informed her of their Halloween plans, bringing an end to her much-loved family tradition. The Loose Women star has spent the last few years delighting fans with pictures of the Solomon-Swash family in their matching costumes for the spookiest day of the year.
Last year, the then-family-of-six dressed as The Flintstones while the previous year they opted for a Monsters Inc theme. But Stacey's plan to do something similar this year has been brought to a halt following comments from her eldest children - Zachary and Leighton, who she shares from previous relationships.
In a video posted to her Instagram Story, the mum-of-five could be seen peeling some garlic as she spoke directly to her millions of followers before the big day on Tuesday (October 31). "Happy Halloween Eve. Oh I am excited," she started by saying. "I am actually a bit emotional about tomorrow because I got us all a family costume.

"I finally found characters that we could all play but the other day the boys were like, 'Mum, we've got our own party to go to this year and we want to get our own costumes this year', which is totally normal and understandable but I'm devasted. If I'd known last year was our last year as full family dress-up I would have savoured the moment more."
As she giggled at her own feelings about the situation, Stacey reasoned: "It will still be lovely. The little ones have seen their costumes and they're excited. It'll still be fun, it's just a bit emotional, do you know
