TV doctor and columnist Michael Mosley has gone missing while on holiday in Greece, sparking a search and rescue operation.
The One Show and This Morning regular was last seen in Symi, one of the Dodecanese Islands. Local police have confirmed they were alerted to the "disappearance of the 67-year-old British national on the island" on Wednesday, 5 June.
A full-scale search is now underway, involving the Fire Brigade, Hellenic Police, Civil Protection volunteers, a police dog, and drones. Fire services were called in to assist on Thursday around 11.15am.
Six firefighters, a vehicle, and a drone team from nearby Rhodes arrived in Symi at about 2pm. Mosley's agent confirmed his disappearance to PA news agency.
According to a local Facebook group, Mosley went for a walk from Saint Nikolas Beach around 1.30pm Greek time on Wednesday and had not returned by Thursday morning.
