Greater Manchester Police Traffic officers found the driver of a Volkswagen Tiguan asleep at the wheel on the A666 St Peter's Way in Bolton earlier this morning.
The woman was found by a divisional patrol in lane two of the highway and was removed from the carriageway.
She allegedly provided a positive breath sample at the roadside.
