Filming on the new series of hit BBC series Dragon's Den is now underway in Manchester. And two of the show's stars enjoyed a break from filming along one of the city's most iconic streets this week.
The BBC business pitching show is all being filmed at an historic warehouse on the Old Granada Studios complex in Manchester city centre. But when filming stopped, Dragons Deborah Meaden and Sara Davies took the opportunity to have a night out on the other side of the city.
For Sara posted a photo of the duo in Manchester's famous Gay Village along Canal Street. The street is known as a nightlife hotspot with its run of bars, twinkling lights and outdoor seating next to the canal.

Sara wrote on the post: "We’re in Manchester filming for the Den again this week so I took @deborahmeaden down to canal street for a girls night out tonight… we’ve had a blast!"
And it appears it made for a welcome break from the filming set. For she went on to add: "(We’ve actually had a lovely 2 hours walking round the canals of Manchester making up for the fact we’re stuck sitting in that drab warehouse all day in the dark so we’ve been out enjoying the fresh air and sunshine and we’ve had a wonderful evening!)"
Fans were quick to praise the stars' choice of location for their night out here in Manchester.
Jan Spence wrote on Facebook: "I love canal St, best place in Manchester." Elaine Shallcross added: "Good on you girls, great that you are out and about
